What materials are used to create your portraits?
All of our portraits are painted using watercolours. We paint on Saunders Waterford Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper (White, 300 g/m² 140lb, 100% cotton and acid free).
What sizes of portraits do you offer?
We have 4 standard sizes available to order. Postcard, S, M and L.
Sizing guide:
Postcard: 10.5 x 14.8cm / 4.1 x 5.8 inches
S: 14.8 x 21cm / 5.8 x 8.3 inches
M: 22.9 x 30.5cm / 9 x 12 inches
L: 30.5 x 40.7cm / 12 x 16 inches
Please note that the level of detail we are able to reproduce will increase with the size of the portrait. We're also open to commissions for portraits of other sizes. To commission a portrait fit to a specific size, please get in touch and include the size in your enquiry.
Will my portrait come framed?
At the moment, we don’t offer a framing service, but are more than happy to give advice on the best framing options for your painting.
How far in advance should I book my pet portrait?
As soon as possible. Normal turnaround for portraits is 2 weeks, but it is advisable to book a couple of months in advance around Christmas time. Please specify when you’re ordering your portrait if you would like your order to arrive before a specific date.
How long until I receive my portrait?
We aim to get your finished portrait to you within 2 weeks from date of order. During peak times and around Christmas, it is advisable to book a couple of months in advance. Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds, but from the start of your order to when you receive it, we will make sure you’re entirely happy with your portrait.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
We sell £50, £100 and £150 gift cards online here. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Please note, just like portrait commissions, they are non-refundable.
